“Be a Hero in Their Eyes” is an acquisition test that leveraged the organization’s exceptional photography resources to grab readers’ attention and pull them into the package. Though IFAW is widely known for its work with elephants and other wild animals, this appeal strategically opened with a domestic animal — a dog rescued from a California wildfire — to broaden the organization’s appeal to prospects. The package included test panels for both an insert and a keepsake poster.
